Easy Hike in the Monte Catillo Nature Reserve
A hiking route for everyone to learn about the main features of the Monte Catillo Nature Reserve, an area that became protected in 1997 behind the city of Tivoli. Among the main attractions: the mysterious Sughereta of Sirividola and the “Monte della Croce” which dominates the medieval village. Possibility to do the hike at sunset, times vary depending on the season. (Hike of 5km and 200 meters difference in altitude, duration 2.30 hours. For the sunset hike are provided torches frontal)
Medium Hike in water routes in the Roman countryside
Among waterfalls, streams and remains of past settlements, the works of nature and the Roman hydraulic genius offer surprising views a few steps from Tivoli and the center of Rome. The ancient town of San Vittorino, gorges and small canyons shaped by the remains of the Latium Volcano and extremely rare botanical traces. Hard Hike in the Monte Catillo Nature Reserve
Complete and wide-ranging itinerary in the various rooms of the Tivoli Reserve, with the possibility of climbing to the panoramic top of Monte Sterparo. Suitable for those who already have a good habit of walking in nature, offers the real opportunity to spot the wildlife that lives in the area (wild boar, foxes, porcupines and roe deer), and learn more about the varied flora that has made the Monti Tiburtini area to be protected . (Hiken of 12 km, 400 meters in altitude, duration 5 hours)
